Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — for authentication and account recovery
• Display name — shown in the app interface

When you use ChatPipe, we process:

• Chat messages — sent to AI services to generate responses. Messages are not stored on our servers.
• Connected app tokens — encrypted OAuth tokens for services you connect (Gmail, Sheets, etc.). Used only to perform actions you request.

2. What We Don't Collect

• We do not log or store your chat messages on our servers
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising
• We do not use your data to train AI models
• We do not track you across other websites

3. Local Storage

ChatPipe stores your chat history and preferences locally on your device using your browser's storage (IndexedDB and localStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync or export it.

4. Third-Party Services

ChatPipe uses the following services:

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI responses. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — Authentication. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — API proxy and hosting. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

When you connect third-party apps (Gmail, Slack, GitHub, etc.), those services' own privacy policies apply to data accessed through them.

5. Data Security

All communications are encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. API keys are stored as encrypted secrets on Cloudflare Workers and are never exposed to the frontend. Authentication is handled by Supabase with industry-standard security.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Delete your chat history — clear it from Settings or your browser
• Disconnect apps — revoke access from Settings
• Delete your account — contact us and we will remove all associated data
• Export your data — use the export feature in Settings

7. Cookies

ChatPipe uses no tracking cookies. We only use essential browser storage (localStorage, IndexedDB) for app functionality — your preferences, theme, and chat history.

8. Children

ChatPipe is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
